Car stalled on interstate????

I took the cap off the PD and the screw was in the cap!!! I take it this is bad as well, should i try and get it to go back in or replace it?



I tested for spark by puting a screw driver in the plugs and having someone crank the engine and looked to make sure they arked, they all arked and I got shocked once. is this an accurate test?

It'll tell you that all your coils are working, but not if your plugs are fouled.

Ok, they were all working and i replaced all the plugs with new ones.

Josh,

I just had a similar problem. Car died just like that. . . Anyway, you may want to check if it's a short somewhere. Maybe check all the main fuses. . .

RTV??? sorry i get a little nervious when theres gas involved, the plugs still arnt here the guy sent them usps i shoulf have them in the morning some time. Im gonna get everything else back together, I removed the rats nest and im changing all the vac lines what do you suggest doing with the vac line in the intake and the one on the oil fill neck?

well I got it all done and its exactly the same....push starts but wont stay running unless i keep on the gas.......sounds the same when cranking trys to start but just wont....I think its time for me to pass it on and pay maztech to find out whats wrong but everone iv called and talked to says it sounds like one of the rotors isnt keeping up with the other one. :-(
