Car smokes alot
i got a question about my car that hopefully someone will have an answer to.
okay, my car is an 88 10th ae TII. Everytime i let the car idle it tends to smoke a lot. its kind of a very light blue smoke. i premix about 1 oz. of 2-cycle motor oil to every 1 gallon of gas. btw, all the emissions on my car is also removed with no OMP. i was just wondering if all this smoke was normal due to premixing.

also, there is another issue. my car will start up cold fine but when warm, i kinda have trouble trying to start. i think it is flooded but im not sure. sometimes holding the gas pedal all the way down and cranking works but when it doesnt, i have to take out the EGI fuse and crank for 10 secs then put it back in and it will start fine. i was wondering if anyone else has this problem too.

Make sure you know what your smoke colors before you give advice. I would suggest that, if you don't know 100% exactly of what you are talking about, to refrain from posting until you do know. That way, it stops the spread of misinformation to the betterment of the community.
Actually, sometimes clear smoke can be unburnt fuel as well, but blue is definitely oil. It could be an oil seal issue or too much premix. Oil seals would be much more common, unless you're using 1-2 oz per gallon while leaving the OMP active.

more than likely you're smoking issue is a fatigued oil seal. the hot start-up issue could be your apex seal groves are worn out of spec so when they expand with heat you loose compression.

but my engine was completely rebuilt by a previous owner about 20,000 miles ago. i have also heard about other people with rebuilt engines with the warm start too. worn out apex seal groves wouldn't be the issue here, would it?

It's cool, just try to do it as little as possible. It's actually grounds for an infraction/warning if done too much. 
To the OP: If you're having hot start issues, but you can clear the chamber of fuel and it starts up fine, I would point towards dripping injectors rather than low compression. I have the same problem, if I shut the car off and let it **** for 20-30 minutes. The car will refuse to start unless I go through anti-flood procedures. My motor still makes good compression, BTW. After you've cleared the chamber of fuel, does it start up everytime, or does it still give you problems?

alright...so i've installed a relay voltage switch on the 3b wire connecting to the ecu. i found this from this thread, https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/looking-car-has-hot-start-problems-499744/.
this so far solves my hot start problem.
i have also order some Idemitsu 2-cycle oil from mazdatrix to see if the oil is causing the smoke.

alright...i just received the Idemitsu premix about 2 days ago. i filled her up with premium 93 and 1oz per gallon...and guess what...
she's been running great with no more smoke...which proves that it was only the oil that was smoking. thanks.
