car sitting for 9 months, what do i do???
well im pretty sure now that the car is flooded, its a rebuilt engine but car was crashed and sat. I tried to get it running with a new battery and it has to be jump started but wont start all the way, it turns but not all the way on.
I tryeed changing the spark plugs from mmy other running 7 and added oil into the 2 bottom spark plug holes but still nothing, same turning but not UP....
oil looks good...
doesnt need gas...
what do i do????

Is it the same gas that's been in there all this time? If so, you might want to drain it and put new gas in.
Also, assuming that it's getting air, spark and gas, you could try pull starting it. This will usually start the engine up.

Does it turn over with spark plugs removed ?
I beileve you have already oid the inside , so this is good.
Is it getting spark ?
Remove EFI fuse, disconnect fuel supply. Clear it out.
Use starting fluid (this always works)
Possibly a gummed up FI system control valve. Once you get it running os starting fluis , do a complete injector and fuel sys clean

get some carb cleaner or wd40 and spray it in the spark holes, also you could always try a fuel additives, also one more thing, check the fuses when i got my car the main fuse was shot, (but that caused the whole car not to work) my car was sitting in the bushes for about a 15 months and still managed to run with a little oil, carb cleaner, some fuel additive, a new battery and a fuse.....
If your car is really really bad flooded then you may have to take out the spark plugs and crank it over like that. Careful though, all of that gas coming out of there is still flammable! I had to do this one time and it worked.

well the spark plugs are really clean so i dont have to worry about that....
i disconnected the egi and checked the fuses and still nothing
what i have not tried is starting it without the spark plugs in...
but its flamable though???
i tried using starter spray for intake an still nothin
should i try to start it with no plugs?? and then what???

You can't really start it without them in... you just unflood it without them in.
A: turn off egi
B: undo spark plugs
C: crank for a lil while, no more than 15 seconds at a time. You want your engine to quit puffing out the white mist.
D: put spark plugs back in
E: FOR SAFTEY let your car dry out for a while. Maybe 10 minutes?
F: hook everything back up and give it a whirl.
Also, bad gas will definitely keep your car from starting! I would really reccomend putting in ALL good gas... Check other things eg. electronics, fuses, etc. make sure you don't have a big honkin fuel leak somewhere or anything like that. Check to make sure you are even getting spark. You can do this with a timing light. Or, if you want to get really ghetto you can have your spark plugs ground somewhere and see if they spark like that... that is a real visual confirmation. Do not put them anywhere around paint though because the spark will put a hole through it. You might also want to check to make sure you are getting voltage to your injectors too.
EDIT: detruich, he has an auto and not a manual.

if it doesnt start today it might be a good idea to crank it by hand and make shure your getting at least some compression, pull the spart plugs and crank it over one full rotation, you should get 3 whooshes (if im right, iv never had to do it that way) although if it were a apex seal you would still have atleast half power....just a few questions, one is the car attempting to start, or just cranking? what color is the smoke, does it have a super heavy gas smell? you might want to check about the plugs too, and when you drain the gas make shure you let it all dry before you try to start it agean.....the old gas shouldnt be a problem that much unless it got some water in it, i started mine with about half good gas and half, year old gas........
the starter might not be spinning it fast enough. this was one of the problems with mine when I got it. if you have another rx7 pull the starter from it and see if it works in the other car.
