Okay, so I have a 1990 TII w/ a jspec motor. Its been sitting for a year now since the last time it ran. So far, I replaced the plugs, oil, and starter(i believe the starter made things all whack) and battery. It cranks up now but it still doesn't fire up. One thing I noticed from cranking is that carbon was shooting out the exhaust pipes. Does this mean I need to ATF the engine? Or is there some other alternative than that? TIA

 

umm ok first of all y has it been sitting for a year and u didnt **** with it if the motor is good ?? and ATF in the engine ????? here i'll tell u what just sell me the car for 5 bucks and all your worrys will go away

 

You need Fuel, Compression, Spark/timing, and It should run. Without all the other stuff it won't run very long. Good luck!
