I drove my S4 to my uncles and we decide to give the S5 N/A a start as it sat for a few months (was not stored, just sat).

The battery was dead, so my uncle boosts it and we try to start it up. It cranks and there's smoke coming from the exhaust, and I can hear the air beign sucked in even intervals, but it just won't turnover.

My uncle gave it a few tries and then all of a sudden a HUGE backfire. It was REALLY REALLY loud, not just a burp. Then when he tried to start it again right after and it wouldn't even crank, nothing at all was happening.

Ever had this happen? I don't even know where to start with what could have happened.

 

is it seized, if so if may have thrown an apex seal

I don't believe it was seized.

Before the backfire, I coudl hear the air being sucked in at the air filter as the rotor was rotating, and it was cranking.

Just after that happened, nothing could be heard, no cranking, no air being sucked in, nothing... as if the car had died.


Hamilton isn't to bad, I like it hear!
