Car is misfiring when accelerating. Any gear or in neutral

Just recently the car started to misfire when driving before it got up to temp, to the point where it sounded like a machine gun when accelerating. Now it's doing this even when warmed up, so I haven't even bothered trying to drive it around. I also noticed that i'm seeing darkish white smoke come out from the exhaust that reeks of fuel. It seems to me that the car is running extremely rich. Does anyone have any insight on this issue/matter? it will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, David

Hi David,

You have provided no specific details about your actual car for people to assist you in troubleshooting. What you have described is a vehicle that is running incredibly rich. Do you have tools available and do you know how to use a multi-meter if needed?

My bad for forgetting to include that info. I went out earlier to check the coils with a multimeter and found that the leading is bad
