VA Car keeps running after key removal

Car is a RX7 FC T2... So I pull my key out and my car keeps running now.

I have recently had my starter motor repaired and also put on a new alternator. I already tried pulling the wire off the back of the alternator and didn't make a difference. I also found out that if I pull the EGI IGN fuse under the hood it will drop the power. Also if I pull the fuse labeled "METER " it will also drop the power there as well. By following another thread I searched. I swapped the 2 wires on the back of the alternator and that made certain things get power on the car. So i swapped those back since it was right. My next plans are the pull the other wire off the alternator as well and the one plug I pulled before so it is totally disconnected to see if that makes a difference. If that doesn't work I am going to jack the car up and disconnect the starter to see if that does it. I am guessing it has got to be one of those since they were the last things I changed on the car. I will past back here with what fixes the issue. It is easy to test because I can just turn the key on and a couple of the idiot lights come on and then stay on after I pull the key out. So I don't even need to start it. If anyone has any ideas before I do that this evening let me know. I fix two things and 1 thing breaks on this car it seems. lmao...

I started the car several times yesterday and did not have this issue. I hate it when things just disappear. I doubt I have seen the last of that issue though.

Barkz: I am not sure what makes a sloppy ignition, but I don't think mine is sloppy.

SirCygnus: I read that as well and did unhook the alternator and still had no effect. I even swapped the 2 pins just to see and it did the opposite and it powered some things on after that so I swapped them back like they were.

next time it happens try tapping on the main relay..by the trailing coil.
See if it's maybe stuck and lets go to stop the car from running.
