This may not help, but my MX-6 used to do that all the time if I ran oxygenated gas in it, and never when I didn't. If the gas you're buying is oxygenated, there should be a sticker on the pump.

I've had that happen on my 91 coupe. Make sure that the air flow meter is well secured. If it works it's way loose momentarily you'll get the sysmptoms you're describing. If it gets too loose from the inlet duct the car will run roughly and possibly stall.

This might not apply, but on one of my other vehicles, I had the same problem. A hot wire going from the throttle position sensor was chafed, and would ground itself out on the chassis during right runs, causing stalls.

LOL...guess not.

Also, you could check your inlet duct for cracks...if you're going to be checking your AFM anyway.

Look at this thread https://www.rx7club.com/vforums/show...5&pagenumber=2 It has two pages to it. On the last page you'll see my last post. I came to the conclusion that it was the filter on the end of the fuel pump that was clogged. Mine had a fine mesh filter. That filter was clogged with a clear varnish. I soaked it in laquer thinner and blew it out and put it back in. The car has never since stalled out during hard left cornering. When I pulled this pump out of the tank, the fuel trapped inside the mesh filter, would barely leak out, conclusive proof that it was clogged. After the laquer thinner treatment it flowed freely.

This thread definitely brought the funny.

That link is actually https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...5&pagenumber=2 . I guess it changed along the way.

It's either rusted baffles or a dirty sock (like Hailers said).
