Unhappy Car was flooded and now dies at idle. HELP !!!

Ok. So my car got flooded.. I pulled the EGI fuses and got the engine to start again but it would start, rev up to 3000 rpms and then die again. I thought that maybe it was the spark plugs so I pulled them. The top two where completely fouled. I cranked the engine then put in the ATF oil like I have read about to help the compression. I replaced all four spark plugs and hooked up all the spark wires up correctly. The car started up again (with lots of smoke) but it keeps dieing. Sometimes it will rev up to 3000 rpms and then die and other times it only gets to like 1000 rpms and dies. I thought that maybe the batter is low but if it starts the car wouldnt the alernator kick in at that point? Any ideas please let me know!!! Thanks!

Any idea where the best place to start looking would be? Could that have caused the car to flood in the first place?

probably you messing around with stuff to fix the flood

I would check where the afm hooks to the intake, where the intake hooks to the throttle body, and anyhere else that can come apart on the intake track, like replace the intake manifold gaskets and stuff like that...

also, check and make sure all the sensors are plugged in securely, like the pressure sensor and the afm.
