Angry Car dosen't start sometimes (long explination..sorry)

Alright, so here's the deal: a few weeks ago I drove up to see my friend at school and when I went to leave in the morning I needed to jump it to start it. My first instinct was the alternator. So the next day my cousin came over and we were gonna jump it and get it down to my uncle's shop to rip the alternator....turns out, it started right up, and I didn't have another problem...untill tonight. As I was driving home from my grandma's, my radio started shutting off and truning off over and over again, and I realized that the other time that that happend was the night that I kept needing jumped. So as soon as I got into my driveway, I shut it down and tried to start it back up right away........DEAD. Im gonna go get the alternator and battery checked tomorrow, but could it be something else electrical (something that has to do with the radio..or was that just coincidence). Any imput will help. Thanks
Ryan

well, when the power shuts off, does everything shut off? including the horn and brake lights?

if so you might want to check your wiring, replace the boots that hook to your battery, my did that when i was working on my FC, i changed them, now my power is very strong.
