Newly rebuilt motor and just getting it going for the first time. It runs, but after about 10 seconds all the lights come on the dash and the buzzer goes off and the motor dies. Like it's a fuel cut off or something. I don't even know where to begin with this one. Kinda hard to troubleshoot this when there's no clear problem. If I have just the keys in the ignition in the on position for a little while all the lights and buzzer sounds too.

I guess it might help to know what's been done to the engine. Off the top of my head here's a few things I can think of

all emissions **** removed so there's a lot of extra wires hanging around
street ported
TII housings S5 rotors
680cc and 460cc injectors

lotta other **** I can't think of I'm sure

if i remember right if they all light up its an alternator problem.

 

yeah all the lights...interesting theory though. I'll look into the alternator as an issue. Thanks for the suggestion.
