Car dies after boosting...

Ok i have a s5 tII and my car dies after i boost it. even if its just a couple of pounds it dies. but if i drive it without boosting its fine. anyone have any ideas? also sometimes when i get on it and boost it i can hear the turbo spool like crazy and my car doesent accelerate(no exhaust note either) then all of a sudden it goes like normal. i just put a new ACT clutch in so i dont think its that. please any help would be great.

check your intake and intercooler hoses for cracks in them and for loose clamps.

if you don't find anything, remove the vacuum line to your stock BOV and take the car around the block a few times and see if this changes anything. do not drive the car for extended periods with the vacuum line off because it will compressor surge if the BOV is sealing properly but a few times will not hurt the turbo.

could it be engine knock causing this? i know that in my friends saab, if he leans out during boost and the engine knocks it kills the engine and he has to reset the ecu to get it started again.
