a used OMP is just for buying time, a used one still is 20 years old. so if they're selling you a used one either get a written warranty on it or don't pay more than $100 for it.

a new OMP runs about $1500, so that's pretty much out.

next best alternative is to get an Rtek chip for the ECU to eliminate the OMP limp mode and premix the fuel. in fact, unless you like changing the pumps it is about the only alternative.

Damn well I already agreed to 160. Paying for my inexperience. I will eliminate it later because I do need the time to research and fabricate the parts. Thanks for the help

Just in case anyone searches this thread in the future:

The fc doesn't go into limp mode after replacing the ECU and OMP. You have to replace both because they fry eachother if either one is bad.

idle still surges and idles high. Ill update after that's fixed.

Final update because car is now 100 percent. After replacing the Tps, the idle is nice and smooth. Car doesn't go into limp mode anymore.

hey man si what did you have to do to fix this problem I’m having the same issue. Did you change your omp ecu and adjusted the tps. Or was it just adjusting the tps
