Ok as most of you have probably read i'm looking to buy a RX-7. Recently i came across an ad for a 1987 RX-7 turbo but need some help deciding whether this particular one is worth it.

Its a 5spd turbo, with CDplayer(which i really don't care to much about), power windows, excellent condition, clean kept, tinited windows, certified and e-tested, and has 140 000km on it, for $5,999(CDN)

Any of your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Check the compression, make sure everything is in good working order..all the electronics, get it compression tested first! I would buy it in a heart beat...mmmmm turbo's

 

What is that, $3500 USD?

 

i got my 87 turbo with 158k for $4500 CDN, but it definately worth at least $6000. i was really lucky, because around here, NA FC's go for $4-8k and turbos are extremely rare.

 

I got an '86 base with 90 k on it in T.O. for 4000. Good shape -- just a little ding on the left rocker panel. Kinda wishing I'd gone for the turbo, but oh well...

 

Sounds like this is a pretty good deal, thanx guys, im going to try my best to get this car.
