Car always seems to flood

I have a 88 Turbo II, and every time the temp gauge starts warming up the car seems to drop in idle. Then after shutting the car off the car always seems to flood. After sitting overnight it starts up in the morning. I just changed the alternator, spark plugs, battery recharged, injectors checked and came out good, compression checked and came out good, and coolant sensor changed too. If anyone could help I greatly appreciate it.

don't shut off your car before it is completly warmed up. this could be your flooding problem.

The idle is supposed to drop as temperature increases. When cold it will idle around 1500 RPM, and then drop to 750 RPM at operating temp.

As for the hotstart issue, you can send your injectors out to be cleaned and balanced (www.witchhunter.com), which usually corrects the problem. This is a very common problem in FCs. A search will turn up tons of threads on this.

+1, After every cold start make sure your car gets to normal operating temp before shutting it off. Everything you said sounds good.
