Can't get my key out of the ignition (auto-->5spd swap)

So all last week I was able to take my key out of the ignition no porblem. Now I can't...

Also.. the clock (light) never shuts off.. so I'm assuming that when the key did come out... it wasn't supposed to be coming out... and that the car has not been taken out of ACC since before the swap.

Any ideas guys? I can't drive my car around and leave the keys in it...

Last week when I could remove my key... I could remove it while the car was running. Now I can't remove it at all. Any ideas?

right under the key cly. there is a cable that runs down to where the auto shifter is. the cable pushes a switch that will let you take your keys out. you need to find a way to tie the little lever up that the cable is supposed to push on. the lever needs to be pushed towards the drive to get the keys out.
