Some time back I install a S5 j-spec in my S4 car.
well the intercooler that came on the S5 engine was junk so I just used my
old S4 intercooler.
it runs and I have drove it a little.
this last weekend I put the hood back on and it won't close.
I know someone has done this before so please help me out.

Do you mean the hood is touching the top of the intercooler or the latch it locks into is out of alignment?

the hood hits the intercooler. I'm going to try the S5 intercooler just to see if that will work, even though the S5 intercooler I have is junk. If that works I will be in the market for a S5 intercooler if not then I guess I will be saving my pennies for a front mount.
