canister under light

What is the casnister under the passenger side head light? It has a tube that vents to atmospher I couldn't trace the other one. Is this canister needed?

It's a silencer for the bypassed air coming off the ACV from the air pump.&nbsp If you take it off, it'll end up sounding like a cow at certain RPM's.&nbsp It doesn't hurt performance...
