can you reverse a toggle switch?

So i wired up a fuel cut off switch for the fuel pump. The switch i have is like this:

When OFF, it has a lit over it, but when you want to turn it ON, you have to pop that lid up and then toggle the switch.

To turn the switch off again, all you have to do is hit the lid and it will push the switch down to OFF position.

I would really like to to reverse it, so it is ON when the lid is down so nothing will accedentally cut the fuel pump off when driving, and just have the switch up when its off.

Is there anyway to do this?

no, a toggle just changes between open and closed. you need a different switch.

some toggles have 3 leads...usually you use the center one and one of the outside ones...depending on whether you want it normally on or normally off.

****, i only have 2 leads, so is this switch a bad idea? It looks really nice and fits perfect into the center console piece right next to my factory security light, by the e brake...
