Can you remove the airpump from??

Can you remove the airpump from??

an n/a
is it a wise desicion to remove the air pump from an n/a??

On a stock car, no.

Once you remove the cat you don't need the pump anymore, but you'll probably end up keeping it for somewhere to put the 2nd water pump belt and to use it to run the 5th and 6th intake port actuators.

cripes ......
they cut the air pump belt yesturday
because it wasnt spinning
so it looks like im off to the junk yard to find another one (air pump)
i hope the belts arent too pricey at auto zone

but heck we got the car running

If this is for the 90 GTU in your profile, then no! You'll lose both the 6PI and VDI systems and be down ~30hp as a result.

Belts are cheap, pump uses almost no HP, is easily removed when it needs to be, can power your 6PI, and doesn't weigh THAT much. If it doesn't work, try to make it, spray some PB in it and try to spin it. Don't be so quick to buy one from a junker... save a buck, that's what I say.
