can you over tighten the flywheel nut and frontpulley??

I would say yes, they do have a upper and lower torque range in the haynes manual. But as long as you use a torque wrench correctly, I think it would be really hard to over tighten anything. Though its a chore to find a torque wrench that would go into the 300 ft/lb range, I can see people over or even under torquing the flywheel nut if they do the cheater bar method shown on the RA rebuild dvd.

Nope, not unless you're using a 1000ftlb gun. Most guns do not perform to their actual ratings, anyway. Most flywheel nuts I remove are torqued at least to 350, and most front pulley bolts are torqued in excess of 600, from the factory.
