Can someone please help me pop off my defroster panel?
Not the defroster vents themselves, but rather that three foot wide, six inch girth panel that makes up the most forward part of the dashboard. How does it come off?

nut holding the thing
well right on the centerl of the middle part of that piece lies hidden a 8mm nut.. all you have to do is un bolt this , and voila.. its under a plastic cover.. carefull not to break anything

Now that you have it off.....
flat head screw driver carefully under one corner, pry up, then work your way across.
Be sure and line up the snaps before you press it back into place. Otherwise you might bend one of them.
