Can LACK of Back Pressure cause Hesitiations?

I recently replaced the exhaust front to back with rb piping and n1 mufflers, as well as a race ready header, the catylitic converter is a catco and the car started hesitating from anywhere between 4.2k and 4.8k the day i pulled the car out of the muffler shop...I know my ports move freely but was wondering if the ports weren't opening due to very little backpressure...? any ideas? should i just wire them open or what? pushing the plunger down makes the ports open right?

thanks...

Ok i have been sifting through the mass of crap on the SEARCH pages......Can someone explain using the stock airpump to acivate the 5th and 6th ports and bypassing the whole backpressure related activation system...? I need to figure something out...I have a feeling this is where the hesitstion is stemming from...
