can i use a tII alternator in my n/a??

OK, I just went and did the "chiltons" alternator voltage test. I followed the directions to the "T",and I got a reading of 10.97!! I'm pretty sure I'm in need of a new alt.,I'm gonna pull it and have it "dynoed".Basically what I need to know is,will a tII alt. work ok in my n/a car?are there any benefits to this "conversion"? And do I do hafta, make any adjustments to make it work??

almost positive it would, make sure the connectors are the same though. i'm told a 3rd gen alt. works in a 2nd gen na so why not a t2?

86-88 70 amps
89-91 80 amps
93-95 100 amps

the easiest for you would be the 89-91, you wont have to do to much rewiring i think, do a search! then you can get the write up on it.

the TII and n/a alt. should be the same

I was over on eBay looking thru the RX-7 offerings and came across this TII alternator. I believe I saw it in the past week or so go as an expired auction, and its back up again.

The guy can't spell Turbo very well either.

Looks like the whole URL didn't paste very well, so if you are interested just do a search thru eBay for TII and it should come up. I see its 9 days before it closes, maybe you don't want to wait that long.
