fo sho...

let's see what ol' doggie has to say...

As far as I know.
same part number for both for 86-88 NA and 87-88 T2. 100% INTERCHANGABLE. 100% bolton
89-92 rx7 TPS is NOT INTERCHANGABLE, DUE TO TPS BRACKET. OTHERWISE SENSOR ITSELF IS ALSO 100% INTERCHANGABLE!!!!

On a series four they are THE SAME DAMN PART. http://www.mazdatrix.com/C-6.HTM

On a S5 they are different parts. It would help if you stated what year your car is and model.

Yeah there the same part cause i went to the junkyard and pulled one off an 87 n/a and it went directly on my 88 TII and the one in the junkyard was 10 bucks and now at WOT it goes to 5.08 ohms which is alot better than my 6.87 ohms i was getting on my old one, but i still cant go over like 5k while im under boost, wat would cause that??? maybe i need a fuel pump rewire....

I'm still confused as to what year car. If a series four, I doubt it's the tps. I mean, go pull the plug off the tps and go boost the car. It probably won't act any different as far as boost and rpms go. Might idle a little funny.

If series five, maybe the limp mode? Caused by the electric omp.

To many variables. Maybe you have some huge secondarys that you didn't mention and it's too rich?

CAn you go over five grand with gentle throttle and no boost??? As into the six to seven grand range? Should be able to do that on most cars without going into boost.

If you can go that high under low throttle, then MAYBE it's a secondary injector issure? Mabe. Possible fuel cut??? Who knows.

Its an 88 TII, and no its all stock injectors just had them cleaned by witchhunters a few weeks ago and if you just baby it and not go into boost then it will go above 5k. The only things ive Done to the car other than normal stuff is it has NO exhaust I took it off after the precat, but my aftermarket boost gauge is saying like 4 or 5 psi when it starts cutting out under boost at like 5k rpms. I havent stayed on it when it starts cutting out to see wat it will do in fear it will blow or something. And when i say cutting out its not bucking or anything its like its hesitating??????

I'd say it's Fuel Cut. I'd get me a fuel cut defender.

I thought fuel cut is like hitting a brick wall as stated before, mine just stops pulling and makes like a gargling sound,

And hailers do you have a sn on aim or yahoo or something so its would be easier to contact you if you dont mind PM it to me or something....

Get a digital meter out. Tap the boost sensor output wire on the ECU. Pin 2B. Go for a drive and boost the engine. The voltage output on pin 2B shouldn't be over say 3.33 to 3.65vdc. If it hits in that range, then your boost sensor is CLAIMING to have hit the fuel cut area.

so are you saying that my boost sensor may be wrong, there for telling the ecu that im hitting 8.6 psi when im not???

So i guess i need to go test the boost sensor to see wat shape its in, now i need to find a vacumm pump, and the fsm says to pull like 3.9 or 3.6hg how psi does that translate out to be??

Nah, let the turbo do the work for ya just drive it with the MM hooked up to probe the wires at the ECU....once you boost you'll see the voltages. Check back on the link he gave you earlier, IIRC the proper voltage it should be clamped at will be in there. If its going that high and you aren't near 8.6 PSI, then you have a faulty sensor
