Can I reuse this rotor?

Can I reuse this rotor?
I have a rotor that has some small, slight indentations that seem to have been done by a broken apex seal. The indentations are not near the apex seal groove but a bit farther down on the rounded side of the rotor. I know ideally it should be smooth but will this really affect anything?

Hehe..ok, I guess I'll have to try and find another one. Just for my own FYI, what exactly would happen if this rotor was reused? I know this sounds like a dumbass question but it's for my dad's benefit. He says I should be able to reuse it no problem. Thx.

That is why I was asking because the dents do not protrude in any way. There are no sharp edges sticking out that could scratch the rotor housing. I am just wondering if that area of the rotor face has any sealing characteristics. Obviously if it does then because of these grooves/holes then it would not seal that section properly. I don't know....

I talked to Rob Golden about chowed rotors, and as long as the dents are not near the apex seal grooves you can reuse a mild case with a little sanding of the ridges.
That rotor looks like it's been shat upon. S4 TII rotors can be bought for $50 or less.

its not the big dents that will hurt you, its the ones close to the apex seal.
other then that use em if you wanna be cheap and save a buck.
also make sure you lightly sand over them just to be safe that there are no sharp edges around the dents.

Judging from what others are saying, they are not reusable, due to the gouges up near the apex seals. I don't think that would last even a year really.

As you can see in the first pic, a scuff extends into the apex seal guide. This rotor is unusable. It could be possibly be used, if the guides were machined for 3mm apex seals, but I wouldnt try it. But as stated before, the other marks would need to be sanded down to ensure no protrusions in the face.
