There are so many intercooler choices it's impossible to tell you what to buy and how long it takes. Based on the question though, it looks like any fab it yourself projects aren't an option. So your best bet is the Greddy cooler, 2 row for the stock turbo or the bigger if you plan on upgrading in the future. It's basically a bolt on with some minor cutting.

wow more kids starting to race with rx7s....what a surprise...........first problem- you cannot just throw a turbo and intercooler onto a stock GXL there are many threads and many websites about how to swap the stock engine to a nice turboII engine

well, more times than not.. they buy a car from someone who says "its a turbo", and the poor kid doesnt know any better! ive witnessed it first hand! he argued w/ me for 10 minutes saying his fc was turboed, so i told him to point the turbo out for me... he said the guy he bought it from said it was tucked under the firewall, and would have to jack up the car to show me...lololol ... thats when i pulled out HIS haynes manuel he had on the passenger seat, and showed him the manifold differences
he wasnt too happy... but i was laughing histeically for days

him on the face, mother fuc*** sold the car to the guy and he move so far that when the kid figured that it wasn't turbo the previous owner was 10 states far away so the kid couldn't ask him for a refund lol lol. the sad thing is, that when someone don't know anything about cars they stick with what the owners tells them and many times the owner tells lies to sell the car. but that story is incredible a turbo under the firewall

Does it have an intercooler on the top of the motor? Does the VIN # start out JM1FC332 or JM1FC331? Does your gauge cluster have a boost gauge in the lower left corner? Does it say "TURBO II" or "GXL" on the front fenders?
And also, just a FYI, when using words like "put," "not," or "fit," followed by the letter "a" they do not become one word such as "nota," "puta," or "fita." If this is how you understand the language than you will have a hell of a time reading the FSM, Haynes, or even this site when it comes time to work on your car. Good luck.

i assuming you have tii because of your profile. Well How high are you boosting, and are you running stock turbo? Also yes you can put aftermarket IC on.
I know
HKS makes FMIC
Greddy does too
ARC use to make a TMIC

15 and on the second FC?
to answer your question. dont bother with it. bring a bag of ice to the track to cool it down between runs.
if your heart is set on FMIC, get the stock FMIC from a Conquest/Starion with the factory mouting tabs too. Easy as hell to mount. piping requires work.
