can i just cut my ac belt?
hey i was just wondering if i could just cut my ac belt with no problems. since my ac is crap and i dont want it any ways. ill just remove it later if i can get rid of the belt. will it run better? thanks.

no, it will make no difference. The ac has a clutch on the pulley that only turns on when you turn it on in the car. If you're going to go to the trouble, just remove the whole thing. If you don't have ps, then removing the ac system is very easy. The only time consuming part is getting the freon drained, you can't do that yourself (well, you can, but you'll make a hole in the ozone over your house 
).
