can fluid leak from the clutch slave?

i am trying to find my slow clutch fluid leak and i was thinking taking off the slave cylinder to check. when looking in the manual, it showed that you can unbolt it without having to bleed the system.

does this mean it can not leak from the slave? i have check everywhere else for leaks and found nothing. its a slow leak maybe a 2 cm drop in the container after a 60 mile drive. do you think its leaking from the master and just drying up? the car only leaks when driving. i have left it sitting for a week and the fluid did not drop.

ohh and i was wondering if a loose throttle line would cause a check engine light.

thanks

Its two bolts on the drivers side upper trans. You can unbolt it without loosing fluid but disconnecting it all the way you would need to and yes it can leak, but it would probably be easy to see with it off.

thanks i got it off i think i found the leak. the slave should not have any fluids inside the rubber correct? there are fluids all over the pin (that pushes the fork) and inside the slave cylinder.

thanks for the reply

Just For Future Reference For anyone who Reads this.I have taken Off the Clutch Slave from the Transmission and the Master Off the car as "one complete Unit"..leaving it "loaded(that is With Fluid in the Master,Line and Slave).I replaced Them Back on the car and Had NO issues. The only thing to watch is when you are Putting the Slave back on the Transmission,is To make sure that the Slave "rod' goes Onto the Clutch Fork, and you don't Pull on it or apply pressure to the system Until it is ON the car and Ready to be Depressed with the Clutch pedal...hope that Helps..STYX~.
