u got the engine out and in again in 2 hrs.? props 2 u if so. it takes me that much time just to get the engine out, back in took even longer for some reason. I think the reason it took me so long was cause i took all intake and rats nest off (minus the LIM) beforehand. I could not figure out how to unplug the primary fuel injectors without doing this. oh well

one thing that may be hard, is to stab the tranny back into the engine. Sometimes it will fight till the end. all you have to do is put some of the bolts in and drive them in until the tranny snaps into place. then screw the right bolts in the right places.

i sat there manhandling my tranny for 2 hours before someone told me that....

I did read that your flywheel was cracked that is why I agreed on the removing the flywheel part... Still easier to pull the engine out though... With a jack you can pull the engine with manifolds installed piece of cake all you need to do is disconnect plugs, take battery off and place the power steering/ a/c assembly aside, mounts, downpipe from turbo and top of the intake manifold, fan cover, all hoses and fan...
It is a lot easier to install also, just place a jack under the tranny and play with it no need to break your back.

BUT... If you guys believe that pulling the tranny and driveshaft are your favorite way then lift the car and place it on towers and use a jack for your to lower and lift the tranny for you back's sake... Your health is a lot more important, not to mention safety... To me still a lot easier to stick a jack under the car to hold the tranny in place (I have even used the factory jack to do it) pull the engine, remove clutch, remove the flywheel and play... But always play it safe guys and have fun...
