can the car start without a acv blockoff plate??

can the car start without a acv blockoff plate??

ok ive takken of the acv and i was going to go get a custom made block off plate and i cant really get my car started but ive had troubles with it flooding anways so i was wondering if its because i dont have a block off plate and not just that those 2 hoses above the connection of the acv, should those be left on??? please o need an answer quick i need to go somewhere and my aip pump and acv are trash because of what ive dont to them.

no. there are passages that go into the intake. not blocking it off would cause big vacuum leaks

Yes, I've done it, forgot to put the plate on, was only on for about 20 sec, but it did start and sound normal.

could i shove something in there just to get where i need to go??? because theres the 2 vacume hoses and then the one thats round for the exhaust port and the a trapizoid looking one. what would i need to stop from leaking to just get where i need to go???.
