Trust me Carbon Fiber work is not as exciting as it sounds. In my motorsports experience I worked for a Le Mans team and cf was not fun. We did have a nice clave and the right materials to produce some stunning pieces though. Chassis engineering and fabrication is more interesting imho.

At one point I considered keeping the prepreg off-cuts from work and making a few parts in a spare oven in the garage at home but just ran out of time.
