camed rotary lol???

camed rotary lol???

Well here it goes i finally got the timing right but now its idles like its got a huge cam and the motor shakes like wise and yes i know rotarys dont have cams i did take my uim off ealier in the week could it be the gasket is messed up or not torqued correctly.

If you took the UIM off, and did not replace the gasket(s) involved, you probably created a vacuum leak. Old gaskets will tear once you take things apart, and then they won't seal properly when reused.

Sweet thanks man yeah and it also is blowing huge amounts of white smoke when started and the gasket did tear so i got a replacment on order so we will see what that does hopefuly fixes the prob

yeah if you are blowing white smoke you either live in a real cold place and its condensation or its time for a rebuild (blown coolant seal)

Its been rebuilt by rotary performance its got 2500 miles on the rebuild has not over heated

check the plug wiring.
If it shakes,you may have the trailing plug wires mixed up.

No one of the vac lines came un-plugged under the uim so i took it off to fix it and was hopeing i could reuse the gasket
