Caliper tools

Before I do the 4 lug to 5 lug conversion on my car, I'm gonna rebuilt the rear calipers and wanted to know if I need any tools. The front calipers were already rebuilt so those are good to go. The Haynes manual says to use compressed air to get the pistons out of their bore, but is there another way without risking damage to the pistons?

The rear calipers are unlike the front. To remove the piston you need to turn it out. It's a little tricky doing the rebuild because of the emergency brake.
