Caliper piston question
Alright so I just rebuilt one caliper right now
My question though comes from the other caliper. Is this usable or really bad?
The other side of it is pretty much fine, but that pitting concerns me...

When in doubt, it's probably best to replace. If you put it back together you can always just use it as a core for a rebuilt caliper from an auto parts store.

Dude thought I would let you know that I was looking at rockauto.com and found this part. Don't know if the piston from single to 4 is this same size but if it is they have them. 13 - 33 bucks.

Metal..I had a set that was SO BAD..they wouldn't Budge..at all..you could use Heat, you could get a Standing VISE..put the caliper in and Crank.,.NOTHING!..not even a "little movement' in the Piston. This by the way was due to Taking the caliper off and Not Keeping Brake fluid in the Caliper to keep the internals soft and Pliable..I'm just bringing that to Light,as How MUCH the Caliper can actually Corrode..your part,I Personally wouldn't use it.I Don't Rebuild stuff like that(to time consuming..and I'm OLD!)..so I buy Used or get another set from the Parts Store.anyhow Good luck.,.(have you sold that Engine yet?...zoom zoom!)
