a/c removal

I thought i saw an a/c removal writeup some time ago and ive looked for it but no luck.
is there a correct way to do it or just take it all out?

After you dispose of the refrigerant- let your conscience be your guide here- everything else is simple unbolt/remove.
Try not to garbage up the fittings, someone else may want them.

^^agreed. Discharge the freon from your a/c (don't let it out into the atmosphere, take it somewhere to get that done) and then just remove bolts. I did mine last year, the thread you were looking for may have been mine.
