A/C drier location

So I'm reinstalling the a/c I'm my 88 t2 and it all came in a box when I got the car. So I need to know where the drier goes I'm pretty sure I know where everything else goes.

The drier is to the left of the hood latch under the plastic shield.

the drier is visible here, right to the left of the overflow tank by the hood latch.
