Question A/C Compressor

Any one have a AC compressor that they want to sell or give away....for all u guyz doing wieght reduction=)?......


i need my A/C....just bought FC...and selling just thouhgt it didnt have Freon...but when i added freon A/C wont even runn.....AHHH....anyone wan to seell for give?...drop my a PM thanks!


i l pay for shipping or smthing i duno...

Did you jump the low-refridgerant safety switch before you tried to add the refridgerant? If not, the compressor won't turn, as a safety measure, and only a small amount of freon will go in.

Dittos to the above. There is also a two wire switch on the top of the evaporator that if disconnected will keep the compressor from coming on (I took mine out and forgot to reattach the two wires, that's how I know). That said, I'd still go to the drier where the pressure switch is and jumper the two wires going to that and see if the compressor clutch pulls in when the a/c is turned to ON.

Another thing.....There are two compressors. One is a Sanden and the other a Nippendenso. The a/c attachments at the back of the compressor are different on each. So buy a compressor that fits your car. The other won't work without major changes.
