buying a used NA motor

saw this car at this show while drivign by, teh car was crashed, teh motor is running teh guy sais its rebuild, one of teh irons are painted so i am sure someone has touched the motor, teh car is an auto, the exhasut gasket seems not to be burnet up yet so it seems liek teh motor is fairly new since it was put in. did a compression check its 115 psi on both rotors, thi sis a 90 NA how good of a compression is that, i knwo on a turbo motor thats very good but shoudlnt the NAs have more compresion. he started it cold no smoke, runs smooth. he is askign 1k which i think is a littel steep.

1k is way to expensive

even for a 90 rebuilt motor. You have no idea how long ago that was rebuilt or what the owner put it through.

I'd settle for more like 700 since you can get a Jspec TII for 1k. Maybe its just my love for turbo's
