buying FC but Problem

I am thinking of buying htis t2 in my area ,but one problem it doesnt start I wnet and charged the battery and it cranks . then I pulled the fuse and it cranked and i smelt gas out of the exhaust I repeated it for ab out 15 mins help me

It either flooded or is flooded due to low compresion. I would look at compression testing it.

Pretty sure it wont show compression if it is flooded

Edit: It also wont start due to lack of spark or gas getting to the engine.

well I was thinking of buying some new spark plugs and doing all that good stuff ,but I dont want to spend money on it if I dont need to the guy said I could take it home for 700

bodys straight and the only problem I noticed is on the drives window the metal strip at the bottomw of the window is rusted and the tranny feels like there are no gears when you wobble it

The rust is normal, and it sounds like it needs shifter bushings. If that is all that is wrong, and it is only flooded, I'd be all over that deal.

Dude yeah, You definately need shifter bushings. My transmission did the same thing when i bought it. You can get all the stuff new from www.mazdatrix.com for less than $100.00.
