hey evr1 there is a 1986 RX7 Series 4 Turbo, clean running, standard in the buy sell for 1,150. USD
. i rung the guy and he said that it is gunmetal grey with a faded roof, WOF done 2 weeks ago, Small ding in the front fender, but the thing is it has done 140,000km but he says its still running good. Do u think its a good buy??? suggestions etc plz

k i went and had look at it (its an gtx). the auto clunks when u put it into gear and whines at low revs. it sounds like the autos on the way out. the motor seemed to be fine it idled at about 800rpm and had good get up and go. one thing happened while we were driving the power steering went and a warning buzzer came on. he told me to pull over and turn it off then start it again this seemed to fix the problem. im not sure wether its just the pump is stuffed or more. can u jus take the power steerin off??? also how hard is it to convert from auto to manual. how much needs to be changed are the wiring looms the same, and wat bout diffs etc??? also i think it has a/c im not quite sure what they look like in the ngine bay but i think it does have it how hard are these to take off?? does ne one know how much it is to rebuild the drivetrain or get a manual one???and lastly he said he would go to $800 USD do u think this is reasonable for the condition its in?

 

Sounds like a pretty good deal. What's the overall condition of the rest of the vehicle? The GTX is the same as in Japan?
