to buy? or not to buy?

well i work at a mazda dealer as a tech. a service manager told me a lady brought her red 91 rx7 turbo 2 in, for some reason i'm not sure of the car had not been started for 3 years. the body is flawless, no rust, no dents, minorly faded paint.

the transmission feels REALLY sloppy, i can find first and second but couldnt find any other gear. one thing i found weird, the tech told me the car was bone dry of all fluids, brakes, power steering, ect...the car is bone stock and aparently owned by an older lady so it hasnt been beaten on too much.

the inside has a smell to it and looks kinda trashy. the lady wanted the car "put back to stock running condition" as she put it, and the mazda-tech who looked over the car told her it wouldnt be worth fixing it and it has been sitting outback for a week. i've talked to people and they've said i can probably get the car for under $100

so the car probably needs a rebuilt engine, transmission, new brakes, ect... would this be worth the trouble and the money, if i prity much get the car for around $100?

let me know what you think

Dude! Id jump on that deal in a heartbeat. If the cars a 100 bucks then its just as good as a parts car. Fill full of fluids and see what happens after that. But If you think its worth the 100 then go for it

ok it is 18hrs from West Virginia to FL. But that is at the speed limit. I can probably make it in about 10 if i hook up to a trailer now. Fiend the old lady and get a car with a motor in it for $100 just what I need to put my GTU back on the road. HEHEHE ill see you tomorrow at about 10 am. LOL

mmm fort meyers huh?so .......what dealership do you work at?
seriuosly you could buy that and double your money easilyby selling it outright or parting it out on the forum. ive paid as much as $400 for a 1st gen parts car and still gotten my moneys worth out of it
