Unhappy busted end links

i put my adjustable sway bar end links onto my SS sway bars and the ******* broke. One on the front and one on the rear. the other two are bent. Is it cuz my car is lowered? Do i have the wrong sway bars on the car. They're for an 87-88TII and mine is an 89TII. I also bent an inner tie rod. I have no clue when since i haven't hit any bumps. man i'm pissed.

it may have been from the sway bars moving back and forth. unlike the stock ones. aftermarket bars have nothing to stop them from moving left to right... which could break the end links I guess. also they are different from 88 to 89. they just won't fit on each other...

Yep I agree with scott there.

The 89-90 bars are different than the 86-88 ones (and actually they change again in mid series 5, VIN 708021 up).
