Bushing Question

Ive noticed lately that my front right has been acting really wierd....

pulling to the side when i brake,
seemd really strange when i hit bumps
makes sounds when i go over bumps

so i figured ok, my shock is blown

so ive been riding around like this till i get a chance to go to the junkyard to get a new one

so the other day i decided to look at my suspension to find out that the shock isnt actully broken

but the rear bushing for the control arm is completely gone

could i just stuff a towel in there or something just for a temp replacement till i get a new set of bushings?

that would depend on how long it takes you to get the bushings.

If it is until you run down and buy them and it is 20 miles, then probably it would be okay if you don't push the car at all.

If you mean until next month when you get paid... no unless you want to replace the whole arm or damaged part.

do you know about that black little pice of rubber that the hockeyplayers slap with a stick so that it ends up hopefully in a net? :-D
It could do great things in combination with a drill and some sweat :-P

Worked on my shitty "take me to work car" for 2 weeeks.....
and the brand of that car...... B*W :-B

i wouldn't drive the car at all unless you don't mind living. the arms are made of aluminum and can wear quickly, a rag won't do ****. in fact i would replace the whole arm and bushing together as the worn arm will likely destroy a new bushing rather quickly.
