Burning Oil Bad?
My 89 rx7 vert is smoking white smoke through the Exhaust. I was told it was coolant seals but, i filled up the oil but then when i checked it after i let it sit awhile it was all gone. i thought that it just needed to burn all that **** out off its system but its blowing oil smoke out the exhaust.
What could this be?
And how do i fix it?
Thanks for the help, i need a little advice.

Could be lots of things. Check FAQ and search. White smoke is usually steam from bad coolant seals. Black smoke is oil, I think. You could also try smelling the smoke. Coolant will smell like antifreeze or water. Oil smoke will smell... bad, like something burning. Just read up, and narrow the causes down one by one. Probably a rebuild either way, though.

Bad news when its white smoke.
Basicly, to test if its bad news, wait for the engine to be cold, remove the water cap on the filler neck or radiator, satrt the car, and come back out and look if you see bubbles coming out. If so, you have a shot coolant seal and need a new engine...
Not to be pessimistic ( or whatever ), but when white smoke comes up in a rotary, its a rebuild 99% of the time.
