burned fuel hose..
so my car caught on fire.. boo... and i replaced everything that needed to be replaced.. since i smelled the fire really quickly there wasnt that much damage.. the fire was on the passanger side.. my question is. the fuel hose that comes from the fuel rail. do i have to take off the intake manifold to take off the other part of the hose that i cant see? i felt around and i feel the end of it..

If you had a fire, even a small one, you want to pull the intake manifold to check all your components. As an example, you have oil metering lines that may now be toast in that area. You won't be able to check the integrity of the lines up to the injectors adequately unless you pull the intake.

thanks guys.. haha im really scared to f up my precious fc... is there any things that i should be looking for. to take extra care around? or any problems that almost everyone runs into while takeing off the upper and lower intake manifolds?

Well, there's 4 nuts around the outside, and one bolt in the center. Remove all 5 before trying to separate the lower intake manifold from the upper.
... you'll need to pull the intake off anyway to replace the pulsation damper (likely cause of fire)!
Just label the vacuum lines. Especially living in California, you don't want to muck up the emissions garbage.
