You have the king of all sleeper's. How quite is it? That is the only thing that would set me off to it's power if I pulled up to you. My car doesn't have the Turbo II stickers on the fenders the only way you know it is a TII is by the hood but them stupid ricers don't know that. I love the look on there face when I waste them.

I don't have any new videos. The one below is with open downpipe and not how it sounds with an exhaust at all.

My car is quieter than any 13B with no cat and good exhaust on it. But then again that is a unique trait of the rotary.

That it sounds like someone passing gas?

Yo,

Hey GNX7, you a Saxon fan?

I saw that movie titled "Smoke Stack Lightning" and I'm pretty sure that's from the song "Princess of the Night."

Or at least I think it is...

My roommate made the video page in about 30 seconds and the kooky names. He is a website designer. Back in the day I liked Saxon.... waaaay back in the day in '85!

K2RD.com supplied the coilover kit, KYB AGX's, and caster/camber plates. The plates are very nice and the AGX's for the price cannot be beat. You can buy almost 3 sets of AGX's for the price of one set of good Koni's. Very easy install and it was my first time ever doing it. The ride is very nice and not bouncy like I had thought it would be. Tunable shocks are very nice vs. non adjustable units.

Dave- you work too much... how am I supposed to give you a ride? J/K

......I want a ride in the 3 rotor.... when you finally get the good brakes, dogbox transmission, and big enuf ***** to drive it! he he he

RacerJason-

Please visit V8RX7.com and click on the forum tab. Then register if you haven't already. We would like to hear about your project. Sounds healthy.

My engine is only 231ci so a .500" lift cam is pretty wild. Plus the 218 degrees of duration isn't bad either. Just a little street cam for my daily driver.

If memory serves me right the E303 5.0 cam is .498/.498" lift but I can't remember the duration. What cam are you running?

380hp in an FC would make anyone smile.... the 425+ ft/lbs of torque will be nice too!.

gnx7 - I will be on the forum shortly to give a run-down of my project. I'll have to check with my engine builder but I believe we're going with the F cam. I want a broad power band but a healthy top and the engine will spend most of the time above 3000 anyways (lapping day car with the occasional road race). We'll chat soon. Cheers

Now if I could have afforded a 20b.... well then....

Relvinnian-

I run a stock '87 T2 diff/halfshafts. 4:10's. No problems whatsoever.

I could go quicker with 3:23's.... but no one makes them.... yet.

RacerJason- See you on the "dark side." E-303 cam IMO would be a better choice. They are about the same but the F303 cam is used by some of the supercharged guys.

E303 made over 550hp in a MuscleMustangs and FastFords with shorty headers/supercharged/306 Bullit. Plus it idles great. If not get a custom cam from Competition Cams and

ME TOO!!!

Rotary sacrilege. Prepare to be stoned or burned at the stake or whatever they do these days. Just kidding

Love those videos. Sweeeeet sounding V6. I am all for keeping the 2nd gen body style on the road; even if it means a piston engine swap.

I would never do this to my 5-speed RX-7 convertible! I am use to being slow. But if I found an automatic RX with a blown engine, I would call the salvage yards for the GN or Ttype engine/tranny in a heartbeat(Chevy plug).
Note to myself--I am very lazy and the knee isn't in the best shape--time to look for an auto RX.

Tempting the darkside is.
