Ol Buck needs the TPS swapped out with your other one. Then adjust it. As good a wild guess as any.

Does it do this in correlation with coming on or off the clutch? Or does it intensify when you let on and off the gas pedal? You may want to check your rear tranny mount, and U-joints.

I'd hold off buying one from the dealer on the guess work of somebody on the web. You really need someone who works on these cars to actually touch the car. If you do the tps, try the wrecking yard first. Big buck item for so little.

I had a very similar problem and it was the TPS.
Any good rotary/mazda mechanic will have a device to check if your TPS is faulty or not.
How much do you guys in the US pay for new and 2nd hand TPS's?
