so im checking my coolant level and color of the coolant, then i notice. while the hose that sits in the bottle while submerged. is letting little bubbles out. so i pull it out but no coolant comes out. just air. what does that mean?

the car doesnt smoke or bounce @ idle. no smell of coolant burning . im stumped.

the car is a 90 s5 turboII.

Don't mean to bump an old thread but my car is having a similar issue (I have a thread out trying to figure it out, then I saw this one). I was wondering if you found any solution to this? Was it just air in the system that needed to be bled?

By the way I have a 86 N/A coupe
