broken stud...damn it

As I was putting the new BAC valve on to hopefully alleviate the crappy idle I have, I broke the bottom stud that mounts the damn thing. Is it an easy thing to replace or irreplacable? Anybody think I can get away with using only the top one and sealing the area around the gasket? I'm only using the motor for the rest of the summer. I would rather not have to buy an entire manifold or top half of the manifold (is that correct?). Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

It'll more than likely leak with just 1 bolt and even a ton of RTV. I'd suggest trying to drill it out.

yes try drilling it out... and as much as i hate to say this .... if you cant i have a manifold that i can sell for dirt cheap... good luck and hope you get it out

is changing the manifold a pretty simple job? i got some flange seal to last me until i can do that. i dont have the tools right now to drill it out.

yes its just removing a few vac lines, the tb, dynamic chamber and then bolting it all back on... it would take about an hour if not less to do the whole thing... even for a person new to all this.... all you would need is a 10mm 12mm an extension, phillips screwdriver, and some gasket rtv maker

you forget that EVIL 90 degrees coolant hose underneath the TB

This bitch will take you an hour to work with!!! lol
